Thought his tactics played into our hands fred, allowed us to gain momentum and if we had scored earlier in the half it wouldn't have surprised me if we had gone on and won it.
Some things we need to do better but really enjoying this hibs team, and its been a while since I've been able to say that.

Aye they play good stuff especially if you let them, harsh lesson for Neilsen today not a lot between the sides be a good replay,
P.S Thomson gave us fuq all today lol,he must be reading the stuff on yhis forum (06-02-2016, 18:43)0762 Wrote: Yep! I'd agree with that change ritchiebaby - previously tried and tested! As predicted, Bartley in the line up - just back and a spirited comeback and could've won it 'at the death'. Cummings' goal was a 'peach' of a clever header to give us a welcome life line and boy, did the guys grab the chance with open arms. His Hearts supporting bruv apparently threatened to throw his X-Box out the window if Jason scored against his team - he duly obliged with that cute strike! Jason is fast becoming Hibs version of Hearts old Hibee striker, John Robertson, Cummings being a Hearts fan, with a Hearts family and was cruelly dumped on the scrapheap by Hearts to become a gardener. Resurrected by Hibs. this lad loves to play against Hearts and definitely has something to prove with a vengeance!! Unlucky not to score that poacher's goal in the 1st half - by how many millimetres was he offside and I can't blame him for running over and having a wee, humorous snide dig at the AR who flagged him!! Never a great game and no surprise TBF but Hibs grew into this game and I'd like to see the final possession stats - they must've been about 30%/70%, or thereabout, in Hibs favour! One of the best one touch moves of the game ended with Bartley not having that fine touch to drive into Hearts pen box to finish off what would've been a great well-worked team goal - very disappointing! Even more disappointing was Stevo's crazy headed clearance off the top of the turf to present Djoum with that well-taken goal - a fundamentally wrong decision Lewis as you put your laces through that through ball all day long son! He could've atoned for that error when he drove through Hearts defence, second half, and sadly hit the ball at Alexander! Five-a-side mode Lewis and ram the ball 'hard and low' past a despairing goalie - what a good goal scoring chance that was!! At least Paul Hanlon bailed him out with that 'never say die' equaliser but why on earth was he booked by ref Thomson, whose unbeaten derby record for Hearts is still intact after all these years? He didn't do anything untoward!! Lastly, one wee dig at Stubbs and why he never uses a 3rd substitute - there were various Hearts players 'blowing out their arses' at the end of this match and why a high-energy player like Dagnall was not brought on up front by Stubbs is totally beyond me!! By any chance keeping him for the replay at unbeaten ER this season??GGTTH

Aye,great header from cummings the day. Managed to guide it the only way it was going in very smartly.
alexanders 'awww xxxx' look said it all as he turned to see it hit the net.
Yep! The ball kinda 'hung in the air' for so long and we're all thinking, 'Where's it gonna end up'? Then GOOOAAAAALLLLL we're back in it!!!!!!

Yep exeterhibby! It's a huge, expectant Hibs turnout for this replay. I just hope it all goes well on the night and they don't disappoint these returning fans, esp preceding a cup final at Hampden Park.

Going to be a full house.
Hertz tv saying even they haven't been allowed to show the game. Its time UEFA got a grip and let these games be televised. Its not going to change the viewing figures of their precious tournament one iota. |
