That, to me is poor. To attack the amount we do, and piss away so many chances is unforgivable.
3 games in a row, primarily this one. We've played some "nice stuff" amassing a whopping 1pt from a possible 9pts (Assuming we don't get sucker punched here then it's 0pts) It's poor. so poor that we're 1pt above the bottom 3.

Same old story for this season so far, decent amount of possession, some nice play but lacking the final ball or the finishing touch!!! Should have won this one as I am not convinced Bolton would ever score against us but we just couldn't find that bit of quality to win the game ourselves. Hutchinson got his booking, so I expect Semedo or Lopez to come in on Saturday, aside from that not sure what other changes could be made, maybe Sougou for Matias.
Sure we picked up an away draw and a point but it feels like two dropped points!!!
Mmmm 0-0, same old story, performance wasn't too bad but that's 6 league games without a win, with another tricky game v Fulham on Saturday.
Nice to get a clean sheet, but in the grand scheme of things it was two points lost.

BML update, no one got the score and scorer right nor the results predictions but Stateside was spot on with the number of goals scored in the Championship tonight so get his first

At least it stops us losing 3 in a row. Be interesting to see what MS and Consilio have to report.
Sounds like we dropped off or Bolton adjusted their tactics the 2nd half and then we didn't adjust ours. Like last season our accuracy of attempts on goal is letting us down and without that then posession and nice passing don't mean much. We need the ball in the box more frequently and someone there to put it in. TBF it sounded like Dave was getting a lot of undeserved calls against him and FF wasn't inthe game as much the second half.

Another two points dropped. We absolutely battered them for 45 mins and could have scored 4 or 5 in the first half with Matias and FF missing the best chances.
The second half was more even but we still had further opportunities to win it. Wildsmith 7 - Looking more assured with every game. Hunt 7 - Really solid defensively. Always a threat going forwards Turner 6 - Solid debut. Brings leadership to an otherwise quiet back line. Lees 7 - Much better than recent weeks. Pudil 6 - Quiet going forwards, never troubled. Hutchinson 7 - Again, much better than Saturday. Used his brain a little bit more! Lee 8 - My man of the match. Went close after a great run beating two defenders in the first half Bannan 8 - Outstanding first half all over the pitch. Faded after the break again but he will improve his fitness as the games come FF 7 - Wasteful in front of goal but still our brightest attacking spark. Matias 5 - Not his day. Missed two great chances and nothing seemed to go right for him. Nuhiu 7 - Excellent target man play in the first half. Doubles marked and didn't get a decision out of the ref all game. Joao had one chance which he hit straight at the keeper. Sougou didn't effect the game. Lopez knocks it around nicely and keeps us ticking. |
