I vaguely recall something like that happening back in Wolves' days of doom, when either Morgan or Moxey went into the dressing room to lecture the players ahead of McCarthy/Connor doing it. That is indeed not a good sign.

Yet again a perfectly good afternoon is ruined by an overly negative setup. No pace. No width. No movement. No options in attack. We couldn't even impose ourselves for a good half hour having an extra man. The only players to leave that pitch with any credit were Hegazi and Foster.
What was telling I thought, was that despite the fans calling for Pulis' head from half time onwards, the players still came over to clap the fans. I think that gives more of an indication that he's lost the dressing room now.
I'm not usually one to abstain from going but that is my last away game with Pulis in charge. I've been patient throughout the end of last season and the start of this one, but that patience is now at an end. If we have any ambition as a club we go and break the bank to bring Koeman in.
To end on a positive note the Huddersfield fans were absolutely fantastic and an absolute credit to your club.
Also for comedy one of the official coaches yesterday took a wrong turning in the town centre and went down a narrow side street; the driver then had to reverse out of this street and managed to knock down a phone box haha. Even our coach drivers are becoming crap under Pulis!

Its gone beyond just trying to stay up, so many teams are just trying not to lose and the football is suffering!! Thank god for Burnley and Huddersfield, teams who will always be among the favorites to get relegated but teams who are highly organized and at least set up to try to win while staying tough to beat!!!
I can see where you are coming from SCO, but at the moment it looks as they he's trying to get himself the sack from how I'm viewing things.
His overly negative team selections are mind boggling, it's almost as if he's becoming a parody of himself at this point and the players do not look like they want to play for him or buy into his methods and tactics.
Something is seriously wrong behind the scenes and I do agree that the club need to grow a pair and replace him now and get someone else in.

I agree, SM. The excuses are far and wide ranging but never seem to question his own selections or tactics. It always seems to be a case of "if only.......". He does not seem to, at least publicly, equate his own actions with the failings of the team. For me this is really telling because it indicates someone who, regardless of additional time being given to him, will not change a thing, primarily because he believes himself to be right. Others have to change or improve (including match officials and, clearly bus drivers) but not him. On that basis, nothing will change or, to use his own favourite phrase, evolve

Pulis has every day to get it right yet every team he picks is very negative and set up to defend defend defend. The problem is we can’t even do that now, wonder goal or not we have won just 3 in 23.
I’m currently watching Boro vs Sunderland and both are playing far more attractive and better attacking football than us.
He has probably the best squad we have ever had or near to it and he still picks 3CDMs. He is absolutely shocking as a tactician and he’s got to go now.
Yes we’ll probably lose the next two games whoever is in charge but let’s get that someone in during the international break and give them a chance to at least start playing in a different way as soon as possible.
Pulis is a stubborn clueless Dinosaur with no attacking instinct whatsoever.
Would Pulis pay the money we do every week to watch the crap we have to. No way would he. Go now and get away from our club because you keep saying you’ve never been relegated, well it’s coming in May.

I recall some newspaper, maybe the E&S, reporting that Steve Clarke’s record over 38 games in a calendar year justified his dismissal.
Looking at Pulis’s record since the 2-1 win over Bournemouth last season, the 26th game of that campaign which brought up the 40 points, our record has been:
2016-17 P12 W1 D2 L9 GF7 GA19 Points 5
2017-18 P11 W2 D4 L5 GF9 GA14 Points 10
Totalling P23 W3 D6 L14 GF16 GA33 Points 15, and that’s with summer squad improvements
Extrapolating for 38 games, that’s P38 W5 D10 L23 GF26 GA55 Points 25 = relegation
I can’t remember Steve Clarke’s record over his 38 games, but I can’t see how Pulis can possibly survive even this weekend with his record.

He shouldn't be able to, but the thing about never being relegated is like a kind of force field round him. I fear that the board will look at the fact that we've got roughly a point a game this season and give him the benefit of the (non-existent) doubt, ignoring that we've had a pretty kind run of games so far and it can only get tougher.

Everton won 3-2 against Watford so we drop to 16th place, only one point above West Ham who are in 18th.
Lose to Chelsea and Tottenham, which is very likely, then we are truly in the shit with an out of depth, stubborn dinosaur quite possibly still as Head Coach.

Thanks for the praise, was a bit quiet at times around the ground but the ref helped to get the crowd going and when the team needed us the most in the last 15minutes the whole ground got up and got behind them.

Well, no wonder we couldn't score then. There ought to be a law.
