This is a very interesting option for the EU.  It doesn't say explicitly but I assume you would need to reside in the EU (not including the UK currently) for this to be open to you.  If this was open to any Brit then I  have to say I would do it even though I have no intention of moving back!!

In particular I love this line from Jayne Adye, director of the Get Britain Out campaign:

“Brexit means laws which impact the people of the UK will be created by accountable politicians in Westminster. It is totally unacceptable for certain citizens in the UK to subject themselves to laws which are created by politicians who are not accountable the British people as a whole."

The shear nerve of some people to subject themselves to such things!!  She really should read that one back to herself before she ever comments officially again!!!!!

It's a very interesting option and if you want to work or live abroad in Europe you would have to respect and be under EU law whereas if you work or live in Britain you would be under our own parliamentary law. I don't see a problem with it and if people want to opt-in they can do and if you don't you don't have to. No doubt you will have Kippers saying it goes in the face of democracy.

Its really no different to me having US citizenship and UK citizenship due to where I choose to live!!! Its up to the individual country if they decide to have a mechanism for residents to apply for citizenship as well as retain their birth one!! This should have nothing to do with Britain, its up to the EU and the individual if they want to do it. You are right, its a very interesting option.

I must say I love the anti-establishment BluePooch who has emerged and wants to smash the system, smash Chesterfield's manager, his assistant, maybe the Chairman ....... Let's burn the stadium, 0-2 at Crewe, it should've been ten, we should own Checkatrade by now!!!!! Take it by force!

And I knew Dancing had to be in Spain, business must be more than okay ....... I'm not so much for Spain and manana, it's worse than Devon and directly. I'm not so sure a model of behaviour that endured years of Franco is one to copy. But is the attitude of Dancing's relaxed lotus-eating paradise even an accurate portrayal of a country from which two regions are so desperate to escape they resort to violence? Or has that mellow sun tan simply relaxed him into the male equivalent of the Cadbury's caramel rabbit? If I were one of his employees I would be in for a pay-rise while the mood lasts ........ in fact before he watches the Blunts slice us to shreds!

And what of St Charles's future now the hairstyle from Strictly Ballroom has made it to the White House? Grab as many nationalities as you can and whatever you do don't pay taxes till you're registered in The Cayman Isles.

Dev, Never was a slave driver. Franco is long dead and buried just the eternal conflict between Catalunia and the rest of Spain. I'm with the Cats. Fortunately in this modern age of the telephone and telex machines (remember them?) I can work from Spain so its not all holiday. If anybody wants a pay rise they are welcome to come and see me. In all my years of running a business nobody has ever done or needed to. If we make a profit then everybody shares.
As to the Blunts - watch this space. If you can get Radio Sheffield on Monday night at 6-00pm have a listen to Brian the blade whining about how bad they were against the might of the Super Spireites.

Dancing, must say my opinion of Spain has been coloured by two visits to Northern Spain, during which all forms of service were abominable, no one smiled, and I felt actively disliked. It was like being in an English pub in the early 1970s when the landlord was only interested in getting pissed and throwing a bag of salted peanuts across the bar.

A lot of the stuff in the American election relates to a time long gone, but it resonates.

Have to say that you sound a lovely man to work for ...... nobody has ever needed to ask for a pay rise. Is Sajid Javed the Business Secretary? As far as I'm concerned it's him out and you in. Your staff are happy!!!!!

If we beat the Blunts I don't know how BluePooch will survive the shock.

As for St Charles Owl, which server are you using for your email? Maybe you can help with draining the swamp.

Big no to politics Dev. I'm not a natural liar or cheat.
Northern Atlantic coast of Spain is not very welcoming to anybody but the northern end of the Costa Brava is beautiful and so are the people.
Never did have a bag of peanuts thrown at me in the 60's or 70's but being 6'5" people tend to avoid confrontation (maybe that's why I have never been asked for a pay rise?)
Am sure we will get a result on Sunday, the omens are with us, if it turns out to be a 7-0 pasting I will hang my head in shame and run down Blue's road starkers.

Don't have to be a natural liar or cheat in politics but I suppose it helps.

I'm tall as well and always getting asked in shops to get things off high shelves for people. No not many people confront tall people but you always get at least one short arse trying to be clever.

I think we will get a result on Sunday, we seem to play well when we're on TV.

Also I've been reading that Ireland could be next to leave the EU.

Two unconvincing wins against lower league teams certainly hasn't got me jumping back on the Danny bandwagon. However ,if ,and its a big if ,we manage to get a positive result on Sunday I may go to my local Asda and buy a small portion of humble pie .
It appears we may suffer a big loss in the next financial year unless we sell Gboly,Ched,Ricardo and the Jpt trophy to the highest bidder so Im guessing the board havent cut Dannys budget by as much as people think.
Oops probably wrong thread

Pooch you are always on the right thread ....... if maybe not always on the right tack. (Like me!)

I'm only 6' 3" and feeling like a midget. But I do spend my life on top shelves Matt ......... It was always the little blokes that worried me. How did they dare to be so aggressive?

Spain seemed almost permanently closed and proud of the fact. I love Italy ...... and Italians, they're so brilliantly argumentative.

If Danny is getting the players he wants the current team is the equivalent of self-harming. Pass me the cutter Marge.
