What makes you think I was referring to the weather and not the travelling Town fans with the wet and windy Wednesday night bit ??
The Lamb & Packet on Friargate (by the University) is one of my favourite watering holes for the wet part. A bit off the track on the walk to the stadium from the station but worth the diversion in my opinion.
