No strict liability cited as a key factor for this inaction and as for the damage, whatever the eventual cost, Hibs FC had already discreetly paid for the repairs on the east half of the Hampden pitch. I intend to find out what that cost us at the AGM when it is eventually convened.

Yes sir our fans should have not entered the pitch area but we are willing to pay for any damage we hope this will go a long way to help any ill feeling the SFA may hold towards our club at this moment and hopefully we can put this unfortunate happening behind us.
