Three Points On the Road

A very professional job as we got the goal and then defended efficiently. Maybe it would have been better for the heart rate had we got the second goal but we always looked the more likely side to get the second as Blackburn rarely threatened.

After a slow start, we gradually took control with Fletcher firing home from 20 yards after a neat passing move. We had several chances before half time with Fletcher, Palmer & Bannan all going close. The full backs got forward well, Bannan controlled midfield while Fletcher & Hooper linked well up front.

We were still the better side in the second half with Lee going close from 25 yards. We had a scare when Emnes fired home but the assistant's flag saved us. After that we saw the game out comfortably.

We have broken our away win duck with a professional performance. Now we need to continue our good home form with a win against Brighton on Saturday; hopefully a repeat of our Playoff Semi-Final victory.
