We also have McClean Leko and Phillips with a bit of pace and morrison back for a bit of skill and passing ability so the midfield looks a bit stronger. How did we do defensively does Nyom look good anybody?

I like the look of Nyom (more importantly, so will Pulis!.....quite solid and reliable - better than Galloway), and I keep forgetting how good Morrison is - he s/b 1st choice.


What about my post straight after the game, which nobody's commented on:

"F***ing pathetic! Free kick in their half 93rd minute, and all our defenders stayed back. I'm happy with point, but isn't it worth a 2/1 gamble?"


The back 4 must have been ordered to stay on the 1/2 way line by Pulis. He was so terrified of losing the 1 point (and being sacked) that he gave away (the chance of) 2 points to save his skin. We're going to have to scramble for 2 points here and there until May, and Stoke were probably very vulnerable for the last 30 seconds. The coward!
Does anyone agree with that bit of safety-first?
