Could be worse, think of the Blue noses....
Yes, one of my daughters and her husband support the Blues so, a few hours ago, I sent her a text based on the old Tommy Steele song: " I never felt more like singing the Blues, for I never thought that they'd ever lose..... eight nil.
Haven't had a reply yet............... I wonder why!
They may be having a recount.

...but it got us a good point against Man Utd, and very nearly something against Liverpool, Beefy - 2 of the biggest teams in the PL.
I'm all for having creativity, speed and flair in our team but these 4 have performed very well over the last few games and IMO fully deserved to keep their starting places today.![]()
I'm sure all the players we have will get a chance to prove their worth pretty soon.
PS. WHAT A TOSSER NEIL WARNOCK IS!!
Not disagreeing with you drewks , but they have shown over time they are not consistent enough at this level.
Yes they have performed well recently, but just go back to last season and the start of this one and that will show that it will not last,
We have to get Varela fit asap , he is really quick, and we miss pace through the midfield and flanks, Period !!!
Beefy, bear in mind what the players went through last season - Steve Clarke's sacking, the club then taking ages to appoint a new boss, and then appointing Pepe Mel....... compared to this season, a settled dressing room, the team playing a lot better....... All the players seem to be a lot happier now, and that will come through their play and hopefully stay there.

close to the same midfield that nearly got us relegated last season.
Playing a side with no pace and width, you're always going to struggle
against stubborn sides.
We were crying out for wingers and yet, with a few arriving, we're
still playing what is essentially 4 central midfielders in midfield.
We played well against Burnley, but we haven't been great otherwise
at home. Personally I think we're going to struggle because Irvine doesn't
have a clue what the best side is.
I'm not in the camp calling for Gamboa, simply because IMO, Wisdom has
probably been the standout performer this season, especially on the ball.
However I'd love to see some fresh blood in midfield.
Like everyone else, I'm also wondering why we shelled out so much for
Ideye when there seems to be so little faith in him. That said, Anichebe
and Berahino did link well today.
After the way the game panned out, happy with a point. But can't help
thinking that you have to take 3 points from these home games in
reality.
Al sees the players in training day in, day out and some of the new arrivals (including Brown Ideye) weren't match fit, so the old guard in midfield, if I can call them that, were picked, and Berahino is undroppable at the moment, and I reckon our results and the performances (apart from Swansea away) probably justify their continued selection in preference to the new players.
