As Owlskev says, I think this reflects worse on the player and his people that on the club. The club agreed to a loan deal and agreed to pay his wages, and all this with a club in the Championship, so for his agent to try to get the deal changed after it was all agreed was a pretty stupid move which ultimately backfired for Dielna.
Players who are not getting a sniff of the squad will always be disgruntled, and understandably so, but if they are not good enough then they are not good enough. The club made it clear they could leave and seems to have been trying to facilitate that in Dielna's case, but we have obviously had no serious offers for them. Surprised no one came in for McGugan, thought he would find something but it wasn't to be.
