Another question for my SM guru's :-)

I have just got promoted from a World Championship Division 2 to 1. Is it actually worth bothering with seeing that my highest rated player is 89 which is around the lowest rated player of most of the teams in the new division, not to mention that they seem to have squads of 40 or 50 players to choose from, mostly better than my first team choices or would I be better off changing my team for another in div 2 where I stand a chance of winning a few games.
