My knowledge is really minimal of Ricky German, I only see clips, so most of them are of him doing good stuff (cos that's why they get saved). He's got a long way to go, but he knows what he's doing up against boys his own age. I reckon it's time to do it against men. Once you know how to do it, you know how to do it.
Look what Rashford did when they threw him in at 18, Anderlecht played Lukaku in Europe at 16, even we threw Kevin Davies in at 16 ..... At some point you have to see what they will do when it's for real. Barnsley threw Noble-Lazarus in at 15, but now he's struggling to stay at Rochdale at 22 - the early chance did nothing for him, but maybe there were important character defects .....
It looks to me as though he understands the game and knows what to do and our Juniors certainly play to him, but I don't see how he can develop staying at that level. He's like a kid who needs to be put in the top class for his own good.
But then I get to see very few clips of the lad fouling up, miscontrolling and shooting at the corner flag ........
