Dancing, I sympathise with your situation but I am saddened to hear that orders are being cancelled because of the Brexit vote!! This just seems an excuse we see put out there for cancelled orders. We will be in the EU for at least 2 years no matter what happens, so why on earth any company would cancel an order now is baffling to me.
I was running the US operation of a UK company until recently and I know they adamantly wanted us to remain in the EU, and are disappointed with the result, but at no point will they stop supplying customers and therefore will not be cancelling any orders!! I don't know what industry you operate in but unless the orders they are cancelling were for products or services more than 2 years down the road, then surely the need for that order still exists!!
I hope you get through this, it will be difficult for a while I would imagine, but hopefully common sense prevails with regards to the day to day business that is being conducted up and down the country.
