I must clarify Stubbs' tenure at ER Stadium!! Most Hibs fans know that we would've taken 2nd spot easily and possibly chased Rangers a wee bit closer for the Championship title if the Hibs had not been involved in match commitments on 2 x cup fronts - we were a smidgeon off a cup double FFS!!! Who knows where we might have been if we'd captured the second spot fairly early before season end and would anybody on here disagree we've played out one of the most interesting footie seasons for decades!!! Also, as you say hfcbounce, WE WON THE HOLY GRAIL AND DIDN'T FINISH THE SEASON WITH NOWT - THE SCENARIO THAT MANY OF OUR ENEMIES WERE DREADING!! Now Stubbs is an all-time legend and good luck to him - I'm ecstatic, the same as thousands and thousands of other Hibees who watched a dream come true!
