Rain turned what is normally a boring procession at Monaco into a great race. Riccardo performed brilliantly all weekend only to be robbed of the win for Red Bull when his tyres weren't ready at a pitstop. This gifted the win to Hamilton & Mercedes, but even then there was intrigue as to whether Hamilton's ultrasoft tyres would last to the end of the race.
Monaco specialist Sergio Perez was an excellent third for Force India, at one stage it looked like he would even be able to challenge for the win.
Vettel was fourth for Ferrari.
Alonso a good fifth for McLaren.
Championship leader Rosberg had a bad race: he was slow in the wet to the point of having to allow his teammate Hamilton to pass him. He was passed by Hulkenburg on the final lap, leaving Rosberg in a lowly seventh place.
