It appears to me that a number of fans on here are quite happy to settle for second best and see Town struggle along, season after season, trying to avoid the drop. 
Trouble is their minds have been so conditioned that they see yearly survival somehow as a success
- well I for one don't and if I were running a club who had just been thumped 5-1 in front of their own fans, then I would be a very worried man, because lets be honest, Brentford had nowt to play for either, except their pride.
Anyhow lets hope we make some decent quality signings in the close season, otherwise come next May, I fear the drop will be a formality.
