SCO, Turkey did not send a team, so everyone gets a win against them.

SCOTLAND - Hugh Aitken (lead), David Hay (second), Norman Brown (third) and Gordon Muirhead (skip)

ENGLAND - Alastair Fyfe (lead), David Sillito (second), Andy Taylor (third) and Tommy Campbell (skip)

Today's games in the Seniors.
Men - Belgium 2 v 13 Scotland; France 3 v 9 Ireland; England 4 v 8 New Zealand; Wales 5 v 6 Latvia (Wales lost a 3 in the last end):

With two games each to go, Scotland, Switzerland, Germany and Latvia have the chance to join USA at the top of the table in Group A. A lot could go right for the Scots, but a lot could go wrong. Wales are definitely out of contention with 3 wins and 4 losses. In Group B, Ireland are currently in third place, and a guaranteed play-off place, and only Finland can take that away from them. England are equal third with Denmark on 5 wins in Group C and as they play each other tomorrow, the winner will have at least a play-off with another third-placed team.

Women - Scotland 6 v 5 Germany after an extra end; Latvia 2 v 8 England:

These results mean that England and Scotland are still unbeaten and have already qualified for the play-offs along with Canada and Sweden. Two of USA, Germany and Switzerland will join them.

Today's games in the Mixed Doubles.
Scotland 7 v 9 Estonia; Estonia 10 v 9 Wales; Ireland 6 v 7 France (Ireland lost a 3 in the last end):

Tomorrow's games in the Seniors.
Men - Wales v Scotland; Japan v Ireland; Denmark v England:
Women - USA v Scotland; England v Sweden:
Friday's game in the Seniors.
Men - Switzerland v Scotland - this is potentially a winner takes all game as far as qualification is concerned.

Tomorrow's games in the Mixed Doubles.
England v Turkey (no walkover this time); Brazil v Scotland; Ireland v China:

The good news here is that England, along with Turkey, have already qualified for the last 16. Ireland must win to be sure (see what I did there Wink  ), although a defeat might get them into a tie-breaker. Scotland must win as Estonia and Russia are still ahead of them.
