Baggie Steve - spot on it! Couldn't have put it better myself. There is kudos and a sense of pride for being a premier league club but it cant come at the expense of being entertained to some degree. I moved abroad some years ago so i feel for the fans that go to the games and watch that drivel live. Watching it on the TV is painful enough! Pulis has met the chairmans brief but not that of the fans so a change in management would be welcome as far as im concerned.
We are not asking for suicidal Tony Mowbray style, we are just asking for a team that contains some form of attacking threat once in a while - especially at home. TP could help himself by picking genuine wingers and full backs once in a while. Now is the prefect time to try it. For me, Pocognoli is one of the most unfortunate players that ive seen. Played well under Irvine, yet completely frozen out under Pulis. i actually thought he would suit Pulis with him being over 6 foot. Strong in the tackles and likes to push fwd - see the cross for Rondon's goal vs Man Utd. So strange!
P.s. I also use the'Damascus road conversion' quote a fair bit, even though i'm an atheist (sorry Biggie Vicar) ;-)
