That miss from Cummings was a bit special...jeezo.

But study Stubbs' line up from the off hibeejim. It was the most unbalanced Hibs side that I've seen in a while with lotsa players effectively playing out of position. I said in a previous thread that I'd like to see Stokes, Cummings, Keatings and Boyle involved at some stage of this match but never expected to see them all playing from the start!!!   Hendo, Hanlon and Dylan Mac all sitting in the Hibs away stand. Fyvie also not risked. A Hibs FC contact recently mentioned Stubbs is trying to ensure all injured players are 100% fit and 'raring to go' by the Easter break. Hence the delay! I believe that info now.
What a topsy turvy season it's been so far and thank god the Easter break is upon us. Stubbs definitely needs to regroup and restart with his perceived strongest Hibs line up assuming all players will be fit. Also one small positive factor tonight was Farid leading the line again - I wanna see more of Farid and I reckon Jason will not be one of our automatic 1st choice strikers after tonight's shocker - the dismayed, embarrassed look on his face  said it all! Stubbs was absolutely correct to haul him off after that jaw dropping 'open goal miss' from two feet off their goal line - a shocker and one of the worst I've ever seen from a Hibs forward   His previous 'miss', minutes before that incident, when a Raith defender passed him into their pen box, was so short of sharpness and quick thought as well - needed a deft 'one touch' with his right foot and bang, goal - the defender's mistake duly punished. But Jason doesn't wanna use his right peg enough!!   Dagnall is another player who cannot buy a goal and how many times has this guy either hit the frame of the opposition goal or hit a shot/header that goes narrowly past post or cross bar???? He's a hard-working forward but striking is not his speciality. Indeed all the strikers didn't deliver tonight and that includes Stokes with that free header from about 4-5 yards from their goal line. At least he's found his scoring touch but I'm expecting something a bit more prolific from an experienced striker like him!!
PS: It's not been a good day for both Embro SPFL clubs - one of these 'odd weekends' for want of a better description!! I hope The Spartans managed to 'keep the flag flying' in N Embro in spite of both these humbling defeats lol!!
