At his age, it was always going to be a steady wind-down towards retirement from 2013 onwards; more so after his long-term injury a year later. He was a good sport when the club account was having a laugh about the QPR transfer incident on Twitter at Christmas, so I don't really have much of a problem with him these days. Blew his chance of being a legend, but still one of our greater players without doubt.
