While some of us may sometimes feel a little jealous of the youth of others, its time like this that make the extra years worthwhile. The fact that we were lucky enough to see, week in week out the legend that was Laurie Cunningham.

You're dead right, it was a privilege to have seen Laurie C play. I know I've mentioned it before but I rate his performance for us against Valencia as the best I've ever seen from one individual; his grace, speed and balance when beating a team full of internationals - who weren't even good enough to bring him down, however hard they tried! - was something really special
