The statement challenges and calls into question all of his bigoted opinions.

Not sure it calls anything into question.  It's fairly explicit in the club's desire to see no inappropriate chanting from the Rangers fans and states that the full weight of the law and the club will be applied against any Rangers fans doing this.  Now the fans have to adhere to that and if they don't the club need to act against the offenders.

Since - and I'll stand corrected if I can be - he was one of a number of hibs fans recently making stupid statements along the lines of "Ibrox is the source of sectarianism in Scotland" I believe that I am correct.

There's an ignorant, incorrect, unfounded and therefore just plain bigoted belief amongst the fans of Edinburgh clubs on here that all Rangers fans are sectarian bigots and an equally bigoted assumption that we have to prove that we aren't rather than the reverse.

This statement from the club, and the behaviour of the fans today completely undermines them so has to be challenged in some way.  I'm sure if I searched I'd find statements about the club "not doing enough" or similar from the same poster deriding the efforts.

How disappointed they must be that both Harkins and Oh Dear weren't subject to sectarian abuse today.

That and the result must be a knife to their perverse perceptions.

Sectarianism existed long before football did!!! Football is a vehicle that some use to express their sectarian views, just as hooligans did in years gone by. I'm not sure that can be genuinely argued but I am sure it can come under the guise of goading, banter or wumming at times!!
