Honestly, I can live without the pictures as much as I do enjoy them and as much as they are our 'lucky charms'. However, they are not the most important content.
The main point is as Imre said above, you can't tell people one thing then move the goalposts once you got the population here to suit your own purposes. That's using people as a means to an end, not cool.

I simply can't entirely agree about the profanity, No-one, at any time, has been forced to sit through any verbal abuse, this is a written medium, if you don't like a poster, BLOCK THEM or simply do not read whatever they contribute if it offends your delicate sensibilities. If you can't do that, then wrap yourself in cotton wool and never leave the house again, there are far worse things in this world than someone gobbing off on a football forum. How about child poverty in the UK? an entire class of wage slaves working below the bread line? TB back on the rise in UK.
Some people need to apply a little introspection and ask themselves, how overly privileged you must be in order to take 'offence' at someone else swearing. Take a stand on something real in the world, because this is truly pathetic.
