I'd have to disagree with you BaggieMan on that.

I was at the game and I'd put the incident down to two factors in particular. One was the drunkenness of a lot of our fans; literally looked like they'd been on the lash all of the day and there's always stupidity with alcohol involved.

Secondly there was the ridiculous approach to ticket sales for this game. Two tickets per every season ticket holder so you can guarantee tickets were bought and then sold on etc. Given the trouble at Villa Park not so long ago you'd have thought the club would have been stricter.

I'm not saying frustration wasn't a factor, but there are definitely more prominent contributors to what happened on Saturday.
