Vettel announces his decision to leave Red Bull and Hamilton extends his WDC lead with a convincing win in the rain over Rosberg, but the whole weekend is overshadowed by the serious injury of Marussia driver and Ferrari protege Jules Bianchi who crashed into a tractor-crane that was recovering the Sauber of Adrian Sutil. Bianchi remains in intensive care in a "critical but stable" condition after an operation to try and reduce the bruising to his head.
