You only have to look at the turnover of managers in all divisions to see that 'success' needs to be instant nowadays.
I firmly believe that JP has already made his mind up re. Pulis and that we will have a new manger in place in the summer. A massive gamble, in my book, but as we have already seen, JP is not one to shy away from making the big calls.
If you believe some rumours JP might be selling up this summer. If he is then he would not make this call - the new owners would. Maybe that's all JP is worried about - the buying price of a club with potential and sat in the Premiership rather than a club heading south (any buy for Villa might look to us instead).
