We were bang at it from the off, took the lead when Smithys low hard driven cross left Mills facing the wrong way. We looked bright all half but Forest came into it from 25 mins on and wasted 2-3 chances.
They started brighter 2nd, down the other end had 3 loud hand ball claims ( the crowd that was) but we hunted them in packs at the edge of the box and kept them at bay, we werent offensive enough until Billings screamer then found a spring in our step, the fans too.
I thought all the back 4 did really well, Dolly ran at them well Wells worked hard up front against 2 tall n strong defenders, Billing & Hogg bossed the battles, Vaughan was influential for them but they didnt have enough to really hurt us.
Fine celebrations at the end, Wagner making us wait to give us the fist pump and wave unsure how many 2000 it held so i gues 1200, minus those thrown out for standing and giddy HT sing songs under neath the stand by typical Notts over zealous stewards.
2 wins on the bounce there now, home in half an hour, blagged our way into the TBI before as home fans better get a lottery ticket before 7!
