So how is Saido going to react now if rumours of him going nowhere are true.  Newcastle removing what SB will feel JP used as an excuse in last window not to let him go, the payment structure.  It appears that Newcastle have met JP's asking price, in cash and up front, which is pretty amazing given SB'S attitude since the last window.

As I see it, JP can only use the excuse that Newcastle are a rival club so we will not sell for that reason, given the window before last and SB's agreement to play on as long as he would be allowed to leave in the last window and we all know what happened then.  It can only end in tears from my prospective if he is not allowed to leave and to a certain extent I can understand SB's frustration.

I still think Saido may go but JP will delay it long enough so that there is no time to spend the money on a replacement.
