regarding Richards and a few others. I wasn't necessarily saying they were turds because they didn't have money. I just think they were terrible people all around.
Richards spent too much time kissing the arses of the FA to secure his own futureThe club should have supported Di Canio more (lets face it, Alcock would have been done for simulation in this day and age
) and perhaps the last 15 years would never have happened. If we'd stayed up another season (highly likely with Di Canio and the other players he would help to attract) the parachute system would have then been in operation and who knows what would have happened.
I knew Dave Richard's just after he took over at S6 and on the whole I thought he was a decent guy. For me though he was a good medium sized industrial company chairman, and the fame and power that came with being the head of a football team went to his head, after that everything became about him and his progress at the expense of everything else.

Hope u don't mind me posting.

No problem with you posting on here!!
Its more than just ticket prices though, the state of the club over the past 15 years has seen a chunk of fans fall out of love with the club or at least with going to games. Its going to take time to get them back and it may not happen until we reach the prem.

But in the end after what Di Canio did in front of a tv audience, how could the club have supported him more? What else could the club have done other than accept the suspension?
