Now that Ben's back, up and running, is he an automatic no.1?

I say "No". I rate Boaz very highly, so I believe Ben should bide his time on the bench, and not be brought back in a knee-jerk when Boaz makes an error. (eg like Ben v Villa). Ben's England no. 2 or 3, but that doesn't make him automatic, in my view.

ps Lindegard came here knowing the score, and will surely return now Ben's recovered.
