I genuinely believe that TP is doing a grand job at the Albion.
He sorted us out pronto last year and kept us up without breaking too much sweat. He has worked very hard on the fitness and discipline in the club and has built from the back. Something most people would agree, is the right approach in rebuilding a team. Even if it seems to have taken time to get to this stage - but maybe there was plenty of ill discipline to desl with before he could trust a more attacking game.
Clearly, unlike many weak managers, he takes no crap from players. They earn a fortune and he expects them to be dedicated to the club that pays them and respect the fellow players and the fans that support them. If they don't then they don't play - the only way to deal with players who don't care too much about the carrot of match appearance money.
Now, as this transfer windows opens up, I am wondering whether a foreign footballer looking to the Premiership looks at West Brom this year as a good mid table club to sign for and show off his skills. We are hard to beat, we have taken big scalps, and we have a need for their skills and so first team football is very possible for a new arrival - they will be adding value.
