Great feeling, 3 excellent Xmas performances ( i conveniently think Dec 18th at Brentford was way too pre xmas to count ) and once again we're strong in the last 10-20 mins with plenty of pace, good subbings and movement from behind Wells that is genuinely hurting the oppostion.

We were shakey, didnt start well, they hit the post and Madine flashed a header wide, a couple of early blocks, but once what appeared at full throttle, a stone wall pen on Wells declined in front of the 2221 ( well 2220 cos my lad was too ill to make the trip north) that seemed to kickstart our game and we built a platform to then kick on 2nd half.

Lolley, Pato, Bunn all running directly at them, Hogg n Huws solid, credit to Smith who was on his game too today. Our neat interchange passing, once we put some pace into things we really do tick. Seen the sky goals on my phone since, nice reaction from Trolley Dolly to hammer home his rebound and Muzzy in the right place to slide in the loose ball from Wells late effort.

Difficult to get a full appreciation with the goals up the other end, the home fans headed home on 87 so made getting out that bit easier and time to enjoy the injury time seeing it out, just about everyone stayed and applauded as the game ended with the ball in the town box. Great celebration in that moment ( Germanic speak) Wagner saluting the fans once he'd congratulated every player so made us wait.

Even looking forward to next weeks cup game now, take it seriously play a full squad and see if we can get into Round 4.

Might just make the week ahead back at work more manageable.

Happy New Year all.
