Dear Fellow Rangers Supporters,
It's nothing new that there's an abundance of hatred that runs through Scottish football. We've seen our club and support targeted across the country - funnily enough never more so than when we're winning - and we're subjected to sectarian chanting directed at us week-in-week-out without so much as a mention in the Scottish media much less admission of guilt from supporters of the clubs involved.
I'm very much against any sectarian behaviour by our own fans and would be far happier if it stopped completely. It's wrong and it's embarrassing. However, I'm not naive enough - and nor are you - to be fooled by the way it's being used to as an excuse by some supporters of other teams as an attempt to hide from events on the park, and to further agendas of hate by hypocritical bigots.
There's a great deal of hate speech being promulgated by certain posters on the site, but I'd like to remind you all to try not to engage with campaigns of abuse and persecution to the detriment of the board. If it's what they want, let them build their Hibslamic State in their own murky corner of the site and fester in it, and in the meantime we can stick to the football, because for some members of his forum at least that's the reason we're on here in the first place.
