To be honest, I've been pretty impressed with Wisdom so far, he
seldom gives the ball away and really gets forward for someone who
is supposed to be a natural centre half. The guy always keeps the ball
even in really tough situations and has a brilliant weight of pass.
Also, he's obviously decent in the air at set pieces, which is always
important for full backs these days.
His final ball could be better, but otherwise, he's been really good.
Gamboa looked good in the cup game, but didn't get forward as much as
Wisdom does (I don't remember him getting to the byline at all). Against
Burnley, when he came on and did get to the byline, he did put a
great ball in. So hoping to see more of that.
I'd expect he must start against Pool (starting Baird would scream negativity)
and it'll be interesting in a tough game. The good news is, when you've
got 2 good players fighting for one position, he must play really well to
keep his spot, given how Wisdom has looked so far.
