Drewks,
As always your post is concise and sums up what I am thinking at this point.
This board from what I can see is an accurate representation of Albion fans as a whole. A minority who were over the moon with the appointment of TP (myself included) a minority who were furious at his appointment and the majority who thought we want to stay in the premier league and were willing to support TP and see how it went.
Whilst results are good (I will have a mardy bum rant at anyone who can say results on the whole haven't been good !) the team selection and tactics are very questionable. For TP to say he had been chasing Mcmanamen for years and then to ignore him and pick Gardner in his place is baffling. Likewise the signing of Chester and then not playing him is quite bizarre.
Add to this the playing out of position of players and it's no wonder we all are left scratching our heads !
But, I still feel that TP is the man to keep us in this league and if you asked any fan of clubs below and around us who they would want as manager I wager most would say TP!
That's why I don't get the sack TP before he takes us down argument.
Still, I welcome anyone's view on this far from concise anology.
Newcastle game whilst not a must win is certainly a must not lose.
