A peerless full back who rarely if ever made a full bloodied tackle.

His skill was that he jockeyed his opponent until suddenly as if by magic he was in possession of the ball.
Statistics probably don't exist to prove it but I warrant that he hardly ever made a bad tackle and I would be surprised if he ever got booked much less sent off.

My condolences to his family on their sad loss.
