I for one was very very pleased - proud even - when JP stood firm on this in the summer ; IMO it was the principle of the thing that was so important.
It would've been nice for SB (Sulky Boy
) to have kept scoring for us till Jan - obviously goals mean points, and would've also kept his price tag high - but no matter. Time to move on, even maybe at a slightly lower price.
Just a shame that SB will now be thought of with negativity at WBA when he could've been an all time great, with the talent that he obviously has
