There were two incidents with refs making delayed decisions today, first one was in the Villa-Arsenal game when the ref took a few seconds to give a penalty for Arsenal, and the second was the delay in the offside decision in your game for the disallowed goal.  While these delays are frustrating for fans in the heat of the moment, ultimately both sets of officials got the decision spot on, Arsenals was a penalty and Olsson was offside!!  I would rather the officials just take a moment to run it through their mind, even consult with each other, but get the decision right rather than get it wrong instantly.

St Charles, more than happy for video refs to be used to obtain the right decision, but it must be run by fifa, uefa or the fa not Liverpool fc, it must be independent and not biased, there is an elite little club in the prem that everything is geared towards. Twice this season the same use of stadium tv would have changed our results, home to Everton leading 2 - 1 when they scored an offside goal to level the scores, that allowed them to go on and score a handball induced winner, then again against leicester, 1 - 0 up, not given three blatant penalties which the tv experts agreed should have been given, at least one would have resulted in a red card, potentially 4 - 0 up against ten men, they then equalize, to rub salt into the wound they score a second that is half a yard offside, add a third before a guilty conscience to the ref gives us a correct but soft penalty for 3 - 2.

All we ask is a level playing field ..... fair for all ...... not just the FA's exclusive gentlemen's club (the top six). I am sick to death of the poor decisions that go against us week in week out costing us points, league positions and prize money, and yes sometimes the poor decisions go in our favour but it is boll###s when people say it evens out .... believe us it does not. Twice we have had a public apology from the head of the professional referees association at the end of the season because of dick turpin ...... one season it was 26 points lost. I am losing my love of football, I now find it hard to summon any enthusiasm, I do not watch a whole MotD and refuse to pay for sky or BT football because of the bias from pundits. Bring back the working man's game ....... rant over, blood pressure in orbit. Please, if you disagree shoot down my rant.
