As most of you know we have been looking for a way to honor madsteve in a permanent manner befitting his contributions to not only this site but the BBC606 and New606 sites, thank you to all those who made suggestions. I personally cannot think of a better way of doing this than renaming the current prediction league The Madsteve Prediction League!! Not only has he won it before but predicting sports results has been his livelihood as well, as demonstrated on the Gambling Thread, so i think this not only gives us a way of saying thanks but is the perfect way to carry his name on into the future. Thank you to South Wales Owl for this suggestion, the renaming will happen from the next set of predictions before the Xmas games.
Madsteve, as you know, I was keen for you to still be posting on here when we made this small gesture to you and I hope you feel some pride in it and it brightens up your day. Obviously as you are the current leader you are once again setting the standard for us all to try to emulate but don't think for one minute that we will take it easy on you, you will need to earn the title this season just like in other seasons, so make sure you stick around until the end of the season to give yourself a chance of another win!!
