I don't think Deano thinks he's experimenting Matt. He thinks that is his best eleven. You're right that Fleetwood do seem to be developing a better record without Wood, though some people might put that down to a change in management.

Unfortunately for Pooch's statistics most of Mr Saunders' wins have come in longish successful runs at Wrexham and Donnie ....... which were then followed by both those teams falling apart. If you get losing-run Saunders you're nowhere near a 37% win ratio. BUT if Saunders managed to maintain his win ratio this season THAT would indeed save us - 10 more wins. The real truth is though even at 37% Mr Saunders is only likely to give a team a survival season. If you're only going to get around 17 wins then you need almost 20 draws to reach the play-offs - 9 defeats over the season ...... Deano's perfectly designed to get us either nowhere, or down.
