In other news, Symons got the boot at Fulham today. Troy Townsend is yet to comment on this. I won't hold my breath.
He's also worked underneath possibly the most sought after manager in world football and within the confines of possibly the most forward thinking club in terms of training and player progression in world football. Experience wise as "the man" he might be lacking, but where he's been and who he's worked with is a massive bonus for us IMO.

The 'yes man' comment is a complete guess, there's zero evidence to suggest that's what will happen. IMO he has far more to lose than we do, so I can't see him stepping away from a nice job at Dortmund/Liverpool just to be a lapdog for our board. I do agree though that the board need to step down a bit and let the manager do everything his way.
