It was nice to see less of the hoof ball tactic today and overall a lot more to be pleased with, particularly in the second half when Holt came on and beefed up our threat going forward. First half was OK but not much different from what's been served up recently, although the second half was miles better with Bunn & Holt proving a right handful and off hand, I don't recollect Millwall having a shot on goal until late on. Scannell also worked very hard although Bunn was my MOTM by a mile.
Glad I went today, because I very nearly missed out on a much more satisfying overall performance and Wells 's finish was worth the effort of attending alone, although why the hell did that tosser of a Ref book him,
after he took the ball forward and tripped over his own legs and then unavoidably bumped into the Millwall player.
So, well happy with the overall performance and it was very nice to see a Town player (Holt) bully the opposition defenders for a change along with Bunn who also proved a right handful.
More of the same please, but over the full 90 mins and we could finally start to climb the table.
