As I said in the match thread a few weeks back, there's no mystery about why we either keep a clean sheet or concede a hatful: our back four just isn't strong enough to contain Premier League quality for long periods unless we're sitting deep and defending as a team. If teams are good enough to pick us apart in spite of our organisation then the floodgates always open.
We'll be on the way to becoming a healthier, more balanced team when we're capable of winning matches even despite conceding the odd goal here and there. For a long time now, us going behind has been a sure sign that we'll have to settle for a draw at best. (I think the last time we came from behind to win in the league was Swansea away in March 2014, and even that was the first time we'd done it for a year or so).
