Jays off to a poor start in their first visit to the play-off's since the heady days of the 90's.
2nd game went to 14 innings.
Away form has not been close to home form so unless they pull off two wins in Texas, they'll be heading for the golf course come Monday or Tuesday.
Tulowitzki hit a 3 run homer in the 5th innings of the 3rd game to take the score to 5-0 and keep this thing alive. Jay's pitchers kept the Ranger's batsmen quiet in this one, only allowing a consolation run in the 7th.
Thanksgiving Day in Canada today (12th October). Jays need to win again to bring the Rangers back home for a decider and to send Canada to work tomorrow with one-big-mother-of-a-hang-over.

Sore heads all round

Rangers are on a 7 game unbeaten run in away play-off games going back to 1996 but over the same period, they have only won 1 out of 10 at home.
2-1 down in the 6th, Encarnación knocks one over the wall. After a controversial run for Texas in the top of the seventh, the Jays batted another single in with the bases loaded and one out to a fielders choice. Up steps Bautista to smack home a 3 run homer and send the Jays into the ALCS against either Houston or Kansas and a further run on the contents of my wallet.
A guide to cask ale.
