Danny I agree with the general thrust of what you are saying but I'm not as sure as you that Pulis will still be here at the end of the season. In his post-match interview Pulis was bemused by the fact that the same team that played vs Palace also played so well against Villa. Well I can tell you, the reason for that is that one game was against a good team, the other game was against a team even worse than us. We simply don't look like winning games whenever we come across anyone decent, and that is going to cost Pulis his job if it continues. At the moment we have terrible football AND terrible results.
I also think the January window is a disaster waiting to happen because Pulis will want to spend big and Peace will (I presume) not be very impressed with some of our dealings this summer. The Berahino issue will rear its head again which will further complicate things, because if he goes, then Pulis will want to spend big on a replacement.
