We're far too soft, and if they don't know how to tackle properly they should be TAUGHT by the Coaches. What goes on at Training is baffling me. All season long we're unable to pass the ball to our own players, surrendering possession - then we're too soft to get it back....apart from Yacob, who CAN tackle, but prefers to leave his studs behind.
An attacking Coach is a good idea, as most of our assaults are coming from Dawson, who at least tries, but he's not gifted enough to be our main threat going forward.
When we tackle we get a disproportionate number of yellow cards, games when we commit far less fouls but get many more cards than the opposition is common place, we seem to be getting fewer decisions from officials, two goals last night should not have stood, how many times has this happened to us. No amount of coaching can rectify that. But the idea of different coaches for different positions makes sense.
DeBakey, don't disappear, not everybody has the same opinion, not everybody is so forthright with their replies. A good balance of views creates talking points and your views are just as valid as anyone else's.
