Worrying !
We aren't very easy on the eye as most expected judging by Deano's previous management history ,even the Donny fans said it was hoofball during his succesful time there , I would imagine Dave Allen isnt happy with what he is seeing .He has always said he likes his managers to play football but is Saunders capable of changing and actually succeeding in this way ?
Id accept a different style to possession football we saw under Cookie as long as we are solid and we provide attacking entertaining football but at the moment we are none of these things.
As ive said recently we have been playing the better teams in the division so there has to be an allowance for this but the next two games are both very winnable if we are to aspire to the play offs and I think these games are pivotal to Deans future at this club.4 point is the minimum I would expect.
Another thing I noticed from yesterday was how weak some of the players looked ,namely Talbot and Gardner who were out on their feet second half .Is there an argument to say that the players are being overworked ? Weve heard a lot about getting the body fat down but is this having a detrimental effect on some of them ? (I know the opposite is being aimed at SEB)enough that they are struggling to last 90 minutes and hence losing games late on .
