Very nervous about this after the horror week last season, and I hope people don't get too frustrated if we lose, and both sets of fans behave better (I know ours was only a minority).

Hopefully we'll start McManaman on one wing, no Gardner, Berahino and Morrison left and central (either way around), I'm not as opposed to McLean as most. He offers natural pace and width, he wouldn't be a starter if we'd had a better window but at the moment I think he may deserve a start, I'm not sure Gnabry has fully readjusted to playing again yet after his long injury so I wouldn't start him yet. Cameo off the bench and a start in the cup game. Rondon up front, Yacob and Fletcher centre midfield. The defence and keeper should/will be the same for me. I don't know which keeper is better frankly.

Obviously I'd love a win here and the villa team isn't great, combined with Sherwood's questionable tactical knowledge and we should have a decent chance. I'd take a draw.
