(MirfI must admit that as a Town fan of more years than I care to remember, I've never been as depressed as I feel right know with the total lack of foresight and ambition from the top down.
It must be soul destroying for Powell who has to take all the flack for our recent run of poor results, when really it's all down Hoyle's blinkered view on how to run a football club.
Since Hoyle has now obviously decided that he's pumped enough of his brass into Town, I just wish he'd make every effort to sell out and give someone with a bit more ambition a chance, otherwise it's back to being a "Yo-Yo" club.)
I'm singing from the same hymn sheet as you Mirf.
I've said for ages that the negative attitude that Dean slates the fans for starts at the very top. The ambition of the club amounts to avoiding relegation, that's all well and good but with the price of watching Town reaching record highs the supporters demand a bit more positive thinking at least.
Dean is stated as saying we set to lose £2million this season so why did we need to sell all three of Coady,Smithies and Butterfield....come to think of it why did we sell Smithies, the lad didn't want to go...he was pushed.
Why did we not look for Butterfields replacement 2 weeks ago when he said he didn't want to play for us anymore, funny how this excuse crops up time and again..could it be the clubs lack of ambition has a part to play in it. Come to think of it Rhodes didn't want to play for us but we still made him stay a further 8months.
How is Powell supposed to get by on the shoestring that Dean has provided, free transfers and past it players(Whitehead/Ameobi?) and now it sounds like Vaughan has thrown the teddy out with club as well.
So come on Dean, change the transfer policy and stop selling off the prize assets and build a team around the star players(what's left of them)
