To be fair, that`s only one individual`s opinion, and you know what some fans are like; if a new arrival doesn`t play 4 blinders and score at least 2 hat-tricks in his first 5 games, he`s a useless waste of money. As I recall, we have one or two like that ourselves. There`s no indication that Steve Bruce thinks that - unless somebody knows different.

Any new player needs a dozen or so games to get used to a system and the players around him; it`s too early to judge yet whether he will turn out to have been worth the money.
